The aim of the education provided by the School of Film, Television and Scenography is to familiarise the student with the artistic and research processes and practices in the fields of cinema, scenography and costume design and contribute to the renewal of the art forms their represent.

Traineeships, participation in festivals and competitions, international studies and close-knit cooperation with both the rest of the academic world and business life and other cultural production create a secure footing for moving on to working life.

Angel Films brings light to the movies. Our rental warehouse can provide you everything from grips and cranes to trucks and from lights to camera equipment.

As well as our tip-top condition equipment, we lease Finland's biggest studio, which offers 800 m2 (8,600 sq. ft.) of effective space for filming and events.

We also have an efficient service department and a cozy café. Take a moment to pop into the café and plan out your production. Our café is open from 07.30 a.m. to 16.30 p.m.

Anima Vitae has been one of the leading animation studios in Nordic countries for well past decade. Anima is best known for 3D feature Niko and The Way to the Stars (2008) which was sold to 118 countries and was also nominated for the Best Feature at the European Film Awards. Currently the sequel for Niko, ”Niko2 – Little Brother, Big Trouble”, is traveling through the world. Anima has been also nominated twice for the Best European Animation Producer.

In 2013 Anima set up its second animation studio, AnimaPoint, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in cooperation with a local partner, based on a production line technology developed by Anima.

Avanton Productions Oy was created to produce artistically ambitious creative documentaries which explore the human soul, humanity and the contemporary world with personal style. It wants to support authors with a strong vision, both content- and formwise. Founded in 2006 it has established itself on the documentary scene in Finland.

The aim of Avanton Productions is to produce films with international potential. The company has also been involved in international co-productions with the French and with the Swedes.

Among our equipment for rent:  RED Epic, RED Scarlet, Panasonic AG-AF101, Canon 5D mark III, cranes and steadycam. We offer flexible service hours and cheap supplies within Helsinki.
